This session is a "grab-bag" of AS/400 tips and techniques.
The tricks in this session are a little more advanced than in "Tricks I."
All examples are in RPG IV. Come to this session and discover how to deal with these application development issues: storing and sorting multiple arrays, large file loads using user spaces, triggers, auto-loading run time arrays.
Ron Harvey is the current Chairman of COMMON's Speaker Excellence Committee and an award winning speaker at COMMON USA, COMMON Europe and many other conferences and groups. In the course of his 30 year career, Ron has held positions from computer operator to IS Director and almost everything in-between. Ron is an IBM Certified Specialist and a former author and technical editor with News/400 magazine and past manager of COMMON's Application Enabling Project.
