Processing XML from RPG in V5R4 In this session we will explore some options for handling XML from RPG applications, focusing primarily on details of some exciting enhancements to the RPG compiler for V5R4. We will consider some options for producing XML from an RPG program as well as how to parse an XML document from an RPG program in order to process the data inside. Whether you are using web services or need to exchange data with a supplier or customer using XML, this session can provide hints on dealing with XML from an RPG program. Prerequisite: A basic understanding of XML syntax is assumed. RPG IV programming experience is assumed.
