| The July Boat Trip to Sheffield Island
The Boatride and Clambake will be held on Thursday, July 7th. This is the first date the clambake is available to us. We'll meet at the usual place, the dock on Water St. in South Norwalk. We convene at 5:30, as the boat leaves promptly at 6:00 for Sheffield Island. Do NOT get left at the dock! You'll want to bring your camera because there are wonderful views of Long Island Sound, the lighthouse, and the sunset over the water. You have a meal choice, the clambake with steak, chicken or fish, or the clambake with lobster. The food is expertly prepared, and the vegetables are excellent. FASUG rates for the trip Members and non-members alike:
FASUG members with a season pass pay the difference between the regular meeting and the boatride rate, $15 and $35 respectively. Because of the meal you MUST register in advance. Registration for the June Boatride Meeting can be done here. Please include your meal selection in the 'Additional names' text box. Now that we've mentioned extra names, why not bring family and friends? It's a relaxed atmosphere conducive to making new friends. We will have beverages, but feel free to bring selections of your own. Register soon, as the boat holds a maximum of 40 people, and we don't want you to be left out! See you there! |
