Mike Smith is an IBM Distinguished Engineer and an iSeries Software System Chief Engineering Manager. In the 15 years that he has been with IBM, he has held various programming and architecture jobs on the S/36, AS/400, and iSeries. As a SCEM, he is responsible for the software strategy and plan for the iSeries.
